RAW-Gaming recruits Anonymous

The Swedish organization RAW-Gaming have gone trough a lot of changes recently. At first it started with losing their Counter-Strike 1.6 team, then later a number of Quake4 and COD2 players. Well finally things look up for them as they just recently announced that Finish Team Anonymous has joined their organization and will be playing under their banner. UK/IE 1.6 Top 10 clan rankings

Yesterday UKCounterTerrorists, a CS news & community site, released a clan ranking list of the top10 best teams within UK/IE. This first ranking is based on the opinions of six representatives from UKCT, CSGN, SGL and the IG LAN series and its based on the a similar GotFrag system of points, whereby each person ranks their top 10 clans based on their own personal opinion and each position gets points. Fettnerd wins MultiLAN 2006

This weekend a lesser sized LAN was held in Bodø, Norway under the name of MultiLAN 2006. Here we could find a number of north stationed Norwegian teams where two of the most known Habitat! and Fettnerd would face each other in the finals. Habitat! took a early lead in the match by leading 12-3 the first half as terrorists and later grabbing the final four as CT and ending the match 16-10. To continue press read full story.

In the last round of the grand final at HW-Lan, Power Word: Snakkes won the game, or did they? The admins are now going through the demos to see if Snakkes used bugflash in just that last round. What will happen is unclear. Even though the bugflash most likely wasn't used intentionally - rules are rules. We will keep you updated as soon as an official winner has been crowned.

WSVG UK: Grand final * Pentagram wins!

The finns in hoorai have just taken down SK Gaming in the consolation final and are now ready to face Pentagram G-Shock in the grand final. Hoorai took down SK on de_train with the scores 16-9, and have now lived up to their second seed no matter how the final ends. SK Gaming takes third, also like in the seeding. 4Kings on the other hand will have to be a little dissapointed with their 5-6th place after being the number one seeded team. After playing almost all night, its time for the finals in Oslo. The mixteam Power Word: Snakkes (prb, oops, OmeN, draZiw and noLa) have gone straight through upper bracket and are ready for the grand final where they'll meet either Global-Gaming or Highscore who are up against eachother in the consolation final. WSVG UK: Day 2 ends - Pentagram surprises

The second day of gaming in London has come to an end, and what a day it has been. The big surprise of the tournament is without doubt Pentagram G-Shock. The boys from Poland has gone straight through upper bracker defeating teams like hoorai, mTw and 4Kings. SK Gaming got sent to lower bracket by their country neighbours; hoorai, but have managed to get through it, and are now facing hoorai again - this time in the lower finals. WSVG UK: Exit for Team GMO

It would once again be a German team team to defeat GMO at WSVG, and this time of course in lower bracket. ID Gaming with paN in front, who at some times looked like a one man team, never let GMO into the match, and won comfortably 16-2. This means exit for the only norwegian team at WSVG London, with a 12-16th place. Read more to get the match details.

While most of the norwegian Counter-Strike-scene are at HW-Lan, some has seen their chance to take home some cash from the Vestfold-lan PolarParty 15. After hours of gaming, two teams have proven themselves worthy to fight for the 15 000 NOK first price. These teams are Glorify and a mixteam called akademiks. After two rounds in upper bracker, and one in lower, the first gameday was over in London. Team GMO walked through the first round with ease, before mTw became to powerful and sent the only norwegian team down to lower.
